It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time I showcase my photos
taken since CNY eve! Drum roll please! Duh dum duh dum duh dum…
Saturday night: CNY eve.
Had dinner at this expensive Chinese restaurant like we
always do each year. The food was pretty good and I managed to eat quite a fair
bit. However, I ended up feeling too bloated to sleep well and ended up with
insomnia…
Like uncle, like nephew... |
Sunday: CNY Day .
Had to get up early even though I suffered from
insomnia-which resulted in me getting just 3 hours of sleep- to get ready.
Offered Grandma and grandpa the biggest orange I could find and paid my
respects to them. Did the same for Mum and Dad and got my hands on some RED
PACKETS!!! Following that, we went to second granduncle’s home for more red
packet collection and yummy treats before rushing home to welcome more
relatives. At night, we went to first granduncle’s home for dinner and got to
chat with my awesome relatives. Oh, and there was this super cute lil toddler
who came to play with me while I was warming the couch seat and in the midst of
some Kung Fu comedy movie!
Bro's expression is just...I can't even... |

Rushed home to prepare snacks for my relatives! Burnt a couple fingers but whatever~ |

Monday: CNY Day 2
Monday was more relaxed. Some relatives from Dad’s side of
the family came to visit and we had a filling meal round the dining table. Grandaunt made some delicious Century egg
congee and bee hoon! All of which are my faves!!!
Tuesday (TODAY): CNY
Day 3
Left the house at noon to visit Dad’s friend’s place. It’s
been 3 years since I last visited, and the last time was also during the CNY
period. I got to meet up and chat with Yi Lin and realized that she’s got a lot
going for her, being a JC student and all. But it was great chatting with her.
She’s so bubbly and easy to talk to :D Initially, I was a little shy to talk to
her because it has been a while since
we met and I was afraid that our once tightly-knit friendship was starting to
loosen a little. Turns out, we strengthened the bonds over our conversation!
After that, I went to visit another Grandaunt’s place and played with my baby
cousin, who is super adorable and has
the biggest, more endearing eyes out of all the babies I’ve seen. It was so
much fun playing with him and watching him giggle and smile widely! Gosh..my
maternal instincts are kicking in. I used to hate babies when I was a lil younger :X
Can't believe we've been friends since so long ago~ It was really wonderful to chat with her :) |
Bro and played 'babysitter' to cute lil Baby Ryan~ |
He was fascinated by the toy car 'cos the doors could be opened. HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?!?! XD |
Those eyes!!! Yeah, my bro's in the background. |
The best tool to use when interacting with kids- an IPhone XP |
It was sooo much fun playing with Ryan! Initially he was super shy but look who's sitting on my legs now? Awwwwwwwwwwwwww~ |
Such an adorable baby~ <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <<3 <3 |
This Saturday and Sunday will be hectic as well. I've got family gatherings everywhere so many more pics will be on the way~ Happy Chinese New Year!
