#np: Half of You- Varsity Fanclub

It's been a while! I've been a little busy with school and stuff so I literally had no time to blog at all. So here are pics from last week and this week.

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINE'S DAY! Took this class photo on February 14. Credits to Raphael. Everyone received little gifts and hearts and I actually felt a little guilty cause I don't really celebrate V day and so I didn't prepare any presents for anyone... But anyway, class was fun that day :)

Apparently some people were late that day and Ms Rebecca was coming up with ideas to punish them while writing their names on the board...guess who's the most punctual student! The original title was 'Ms Rebecca's Hate list'
I can't quite remember who took this shot but I can easily say that yes, I was THAT tired. I literally dozed off for a full half hour!

After class, I met up with Cheryl and we went to watch Beautiful Creatures on it's premiere day. Had to travel all the way to Yishun which was super troublesome for me -_- And Cheryl wouldn't get the tickets for me first even though she arrived earlier because she 'doesn't know how to use a card'...

Oh this was taken the day before V Day. Shaina had spent the night before making some Valentine treats for Threesome and they tasted fantastic! Lavenia and I decided to share her creation with the world of instagram!

This lil fella was just chilling outside Ourspace and watching the cars drive by until I showed up and ruined its peace...I JUST WANTED TO SNAP A COUPLE PICTURES OF HIM!!!

Aunt said that this bunny was left out to roam in the garden down the block and has been there for 2 weeks straight. She's looking for someone to adopt it...

This was taken last Saturday night. My family and I visited a relative's place for dinner and my uncle had this cool driving game that Bro got really interested in... The kid CAN really drive!!!

On Sunday, some relatives came over for lunch and I 'babysitted' these two little bundles of joy. They are just soooo cute together! I totally wouldn't mind babysitting them again!

 Exhausted uncle...
I did my nails following the Valentines' day theme and it took me FOREVER to finish just one hand!!!

I absolutely adore this new ring I bought earlier at Jcube! I'm gonna wear it really often from now on!!! Oh yeah and I went to Jcube with some FMS buddies to watch Ah Boys to Men 2 after our Socpsych test and it was a wonderful movie, a real emotional rollercoaster! It was definitely worth my $6.50!! XD

#np: Maybe this is love- Varsity Fanclub

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time I showcase my photos taken since CNY eve! Drum roll please! Duh dum duh dum duh dum…
Saturday night: CNY eve.
Had dinner at this expensive Chinese restaurant like we always do each year. The food was pretty good and I managed to eat quite a fair bit. However, I ended up feeling too bloated to sleep well and ended up with insomnia…

Like uncle, like nephew...

Sunday: CNY Day .
Had to get up early even though I suffered from insomnia-which resulted in me getting just 3 hours of sleep- to get ready. Offered Grandma and grandpa the biggest orange I could find and paid my respects to them. Did the same for Mum and Dad and got my hands on some RED PACKETS!!! Following that, we went to second granduncle’s home for more red packet collection and yummy treats before rushing home to welcome more relatives. At night, we went to first granduncle’s home for dinner and got to chat with my awesome relatives. Oh, and there was this super cute lil toddler who came to play with me while I was warming the couch seat and in the midst of some Kung Fu comedy movie!

Bro's expression is just...I can't even...

Paying our respects to elders~

Rushed home to prepare snacks for my relatives! Burnt a couple fingers but whatever~

CHEESE!

Monday: CNY Day 2
Monday was more relaxed. Some relatives from Dad’s side of the family came to visit and we had a filling meal round the dining table.  Grandaunt made some delicious Century egg congee and bee hoon! All of which are my faves!!!

Tuesday (TODAY): CNY Day 3

Left the house at noon to visit Dad’s friend’s place. It’s been 3 years since I last visited, and the last time was also during the CNY period. I got to meet up and chat with Yi Lin and realized that she’s got a lot going for her, being a JC student and all. But it was great chatting with her. She’s so bubbly and easy to talk to :D Initially, I was a little shy to talk to her because it has been a while since we met and I was afraid that our once tightly-knit friendship was starting to loosen a little. Turns out, we strengthened the bonds over our conversation! After that, I went to visit another Grandaunt’s place and played with my baby cousin, who is super adorable and has the biggest, more endearing eyes out of all the babies I’ve seen. It was so much fun playing with him and watching him giggle and smile widely! Gosh..my maternal instincts are kicking in. I used to hate babies when I was a lil younger :X

Can't believe we've been friends since so long ago~ It was really wonderful to chat with her :)

Bro and  played 'babysitter' to cute lil Baby Ryan~

He was fascinated by the toy car 'cos the doors could be opened. HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?!?! XD

Those eyes!!! Yeah, my bro's in the background.

The best tool to use when interacting with kids- an IPhone XP

It was sooo much fun playing with Ryan! Initially he was super shy but look who's sitting on my legs now? Awwwwwwwwwwwwww~

Such an adorable baby~ <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <<3 <3

This Saturday and Sunday will be hectic as well. I've got family gatherings everywhere so many more pics will be on the way~ Happy Chinese New Year!

#np: One Direction "Kiss You" Cover - After Romeo

It's day two of CNY! And it's Monday...

Today was more of a take-it-easy kind of day, just a little gathering with some relatives and eating together. I got to finish up some schoolwork and catch up on some animes. Gosh it has been a while since I Iast watched one! My Japanese is getting a little rusty!

Maybe it's just me but I feel that the older you get, the less fun CNY becomes. Last night at my relatives' place, I found myself sitting on the couch watching tv until a couple baby cousins waddled by to play with me. I swear, they're only interested in the long hair and poor me has to bear with the tugging with a set smile... :/

Recently, my phone has been glitching a bit. Not sure whether that's good or bad but I'm starting to ponder around the thought of getting a new one... I haven't told anyone about the phone problems though...maybe I'll wait another half a year and see how it goes~

If only CNY was like Christmas, then I would drag Mum into HMV with me and grab Chad Valley's Young Hunger album... Damn the songs are addictive!

Sorry about the photo-less post~

#np: So yesterday-Hilary Duff

Chinese New Year is here! I don't think I would be uploading any CNY pictures yet until after Tuesday 'cos I'm in the middle of celebrating it! XD But the week before CNY was crazy for me! I burned a lot of midnight oil to study for a MW test and spent over 8 hours editing a group presentation for SocPsych. But thankfully the CNY celebration lats four days so I can catch up on my sleep :)

I had no idea that Between Chapters cafe sells Choclate Nutella and Mint nutella ie cream! After yoga, Lavenia, PeiShan, Rigel and I got ourselves some ice cream! It was totally worth out $1.50. The portion was just right and taste of the ice cream was fabulous!

We ordered 2 Mint nutellas and 2 Chocolate Nutellas. Mine's the one on the right. Aww man, just thinking about it is making me drool over the keyboard~

My Socsych group. Everyone's so busy preparing for the presentation!

Oh yah, and big news!  Apparently on Thursday-right after Socpsych- the first FMS DPA 2013 couple was born! Can you believe it? In just 3 short weeks, love has blossomed in our class! Hahaha! The confession took place at Munch and after that everyone went to 'celebrate' at Jcube.( Which is ridiculously far from my place. An hour long bus ride from there to home.) At Jcube, we had lunch a The Manhattan Fish Market to relax and have a nice catch-up chat session.

I'm guessing this is typical FMS behaviour. Everyone being a busybody while the confession takes place...

Perhaps Zac wanted a better view...good strategy with the whole height elevation thing.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw all these cupcakes!!!! What a mess~!

Hmmm...you don't say?

This was taken before our presentation. I think we did ok but we did exceed the time limit... :(

On Friday, we(FMS peeps) headed to Celine's place for an early CNY party. We had such a great chat and BTW, Celine's bed is superb! It's so soft and cosy! And it's made in Italy!!!

BEFORE

AFTER

As usual, I met up with Jes and Cheryl for dinner at J8. I managed to get some awesome clothes from Cotton On (there was a 40% sale going on!) Oh but I accidentally fell on the way to the toilet...that really hurt :X

We really didn't want to leave straight after dinner but Jes ha to go early...

Had Spicy ramen at Ajisen!

I know I said that I wouldn't take any CNY related pictures but I was dying to take a pic of my hair! I burnt 3 fingers just to curl them and I think they looked good( I was going for the loose-messy-ish look ) I REALLY NEED TO CHANGE MY SPCES OR GET CONTACTS!

#np: My Girl feat. Jack Goldstein-Chad Valley

I'm suppose to be studying for my Mindworks quiz this coming week but look where am I now?
I went out with Dom and Rigel to catch Gangster Squad at Vivo City 'cos apparently only that cinema was showing the movie that day. I had to travel quite a distance to get there...and fell asleep on the train :P

After the movie(which was awesome btw), I met up with Cheryl and Jeslyn for Dinner at Junction8 and we ate at ThaiExpress. I got to catch up with them about their first day of JC and it was nice to be with them again :) Dinner was great but we had a little bit of trouble getting the waiters' attention. I wonder why...

This was what Cheryl ordered: Chicken Curry with prata on the side. Initially I thought the portion would be too little and that a bowl of rice would have gone well with the curry. But according to Cheryl, the chicken curry was really filling.

This was my dinner: Stick Noodles in Tom Yum soup. It looks harmless but boy the soup was REALLY SPICY! I couldn't finish the noodles because it was just that overwhelming! But apart from the spiciness, the soup was really good :)

Jeslyn ordered the same dish, but hers had glass noodles and seafood. Mine has just fish. Seems like she really enjoyed her food. She didn't leave a drop of soup in the bowl! XD

At night, I met up with Mum at Thomson Plaza and found her at the DVD shop. After having supper at SushiTei, Dad picked us up and we went to check out even more orchards again~ I found this really cute Toilet Sign while getting lost at the orchard :)

I was very surprised to find strawberries growing at the orchard! I never knew they could exist in this climate! But the strawberries were a little oddly shaped...

Every time Dad takes Bro and I to an orchard, the first place we head to is usually the Cold room. We chanced upon a beautiful Cherry Blossom tree (a short one though) and one of its' flowers fell. I couldn't resist taking a picture of it! It's so gorgeous!

OK, I better start on my revision. Did I mention that I made some baguettes this morning? Such a pity, I should have taken some photos before they were all eaten up :)
