#np: Burn - Ellie Goulding

Just chilling in on a cooling Tuesday afternoon and watching a couple episodes of Pucca. It's been forever since I last watched the show and its still as cute and overly exaggerated as always :)

Spent the earlier portion of the day cleaning my room 'cause the girls are coming over for a sleepover tomorrow. Who knew moving my bed to the side would make the entire room look bigger and more...accessible XD
Also helped the folks with the curtains. Now they're in the washer and the entire house looks sooo.... bright and airy.

Did some baking at Su Chii's place yesterday and even though it took close to forever, we made some super rich Chippet Chocolate Cupakes with Pink Frosting! And when I say rich, I mean the cupcake is super super super RICH and CREAMY and AWESOME!!!!!

I'll have more updates later. Gotta pack my bag for the upcoming trip to HK!

Char has a bunch of Carebears lined up next to her bed! They're sooooo cute and were arranged according to the colours of the rainbow XD

Went to Raph's place for a DPA FMS BBQ/ reunion party. This adorable fella's Mikey. He's sooo cute :)

Cal was a great chef. He did most of the cooking and helped us start the fire! Kudos to his awesome skills! Charlotte too, btw. She cooked so much for us too! XD

#np: Hello and Goodbye - MYNAME

It's 5am in the morning...and I'm still awake...and I don't know why...

Anyway, I'm still editing the video clips taken on Friday, when Dad took Bro and I out for a 10km Hike at the HSBC Tree Top Walk. It'd had been close to 8 years since I last went hiking there. Come to think of it, Bro wasn't even born when Dad and I last went there! Woah~

Dad didn't tell us just how long we trekked until we walked all the back back to the car. When he told us we conquered 10km in 2 hours, Bro and I shared the same WTH expressions. Bro was getting itchy after all the sweating and my right knee was hurting. As for Dad, well he got punched by Bro because Bro wouldn't  stop complaining throughout the journey (LOL)

Spent the afternoon shifting my furniture and vacuuming the room after that so I was exhausted by Dinner time. I thought a 5 minute power nap would give me a boost of energy before the NDP but by the time I woke up, it was close to 11 and the National Day Parade broadcast has ended. Awww man... But it's ok :) The parade's probably not much different from last year's anyway.

Saturday was family day. Spent the afternoon with Mum and Dad watching some singing competition on TV until it was time for Bro's swimming class. We grabbed a quick dinner before heading to IKEA because Mum needed to buy some stuff. Turns out, I was the one who bought the most items...

But we had some delicious fried chicken wings there! (CHICKEN CRAVING SATISFIED) and bought some ice cream and sweet donuts that had this rich chocolate cream filling! It was SOOOOO good!

I think I'll TRY to sleep a little before the start of the day's activities. Apparently, Mum' got this coupons for some free coffee and I'm really looking forward to it!!!! XD

Maybe I should grab some ice cream at Salted Caramel after Church tomorrow too.... Holidays are here so I guess it's time to pack on the pounds! XD (Shouldn't it be the other way round?! LOL)

#NP: Video Moment 3 : Bye Ms Rebecca and Hello Holidays

So Ms Rebecca left for Chicago on Wednesday night after teaching at NP for almost a year and along with some DPA buddies, I went to the Airport after school to send her off. Here's a little vlog we did while we were at the airport....

Wednesday was also my last day of school before the long 2 months semester break. It was a crazy day as I had to rush through final assignments and clear all my presentations. By the time I got home, it was late in the night and I was dying to reunite with my bed....

With Taylor(the purple bear) and Ms Rebecca's sloth plushie! We got Taylor as a goodbye and thank you gift for Ms Rebecca! It took us some time to think of the name Taylor until a certain country singer came to mind...

I think we were all really lucky to have had ms Rebecca as our SocPsy lecturer...she put in so much effort during the short 8 weeks and everyone became so much closer thanks to all that HEARTwork :)

Then, after a looooooooong overdue good night's rest, it was THURSDAY!!! My holidays are here!!! I went out with Mum to MBS to spend some time together.

First thing we did was to grab dinner. Mum was craving for Dim Sum and we ended up at Ding Tai Fung! 

Good food comes at a 'good' price....even though it was just the 2 of us XD

After walking around and exploring the place and buying some stuff, we decided to settle down for some tea.  We went to TWG and Mum got creme  brûlée and some mint tea. I decided to try out the Royal Orchid tea 'cause it was under the EVENING TEA section of the menu. Both types tasted great and the creme brûlée was yummy too!

I was fascinated by the tea book and decided to purchase one at the TWG retail shop after tea. It's filled with everything I want to know about TEA!!!!!

So yeah, we entered the TWG retail shop after tea and got the book as well as some tea flowers. I gotta remind myself to visit Robinsons or Metro someday soon to buy a transparent teapot!!! XD

Tomorrow, it's tree top hiking with Dad and Bro!

# Talkin' Bout Love - J Rabbit

I'm exhausted....enough said.

Took this while I was using the oil burner as my tea leaves-dryer-thingy. I like to 'recycle' the loose leaves from my tea bags after a good cup. The dried leaves are kept in my loose leave jar and placed in my wardrobe as a natural deodoriser . Smart idea, eh? XD

So I got these adorable polar bear stickers and I stuck these on the bottom left of my laptop. Isn't it cute?! A rolling polar bear! Thus struck the quote " An avalanche is a polar bear rolling down a hill." Added the flowers cause they look like cherry blossoms and every girl's gotta love cherry blossoms!

Dad's become wiser! Haha! Mum got him a strawberry shortcake and even though it was a simple cake, it tasted awesome! the cake was so fluffy and the cream wasn't very thick and rich! Look at all the candles on the cake!

On Saturday, my family attended my Aunt's wedding. Isn't the cup adorable?! Mum's planning on using them for espressos cause they're just the right size!

Bro and I got bored after a while...so we decided to kill time by sticking flowers onto Mama's hair! XD 

Then we decided to shove them into one of the gift cups....

For supper/dessert after a long day, we went to MBS to have some sweet treats at high society. The ambiance there is soooo fitting for a Queen! *ahem ahem* Hahaha!


Ok, I should get some rest. Chao~

My very first time at ANDERSEN'S and I didn't get any ice cream (-_-) Got an oreo cheesake and some aromatic earl grey tea! The combination was perfect!!!! I'm so dessert-smart! XD *facepalm*

This girl is just so 'aunty-ish' but she's soooo fun to be with! Next time go shopping must bring her along and she'll check the ingredients label behind anything she buys! XD

Had to work on my radio assignment in the morning with Sab and we got our recordings down. Now we just gotta touch up on editing! Sabrina's a fun partner to work with. She's so bubbly and hardworking! We couldn't stop laughing while we were recording our voices for our final infocapsule assignment!

Attended the Scholarship awards ceremony in the afternoon where I received the merit award along with 3 other DPA FMS buddies! We went all #DPAFMSPRIDE mode after collecting our certs and headed straight for the eclairs after it was all over! XD
