#np: Overtime - Cash Cash

It's 1-ish in the morning and I really couldn't care less about sleep right now.
A lot of stuff happened during my absence. I grew a little (not vertically, though that would have been great) while I was on a 5-week study trip in China, officially became a year two MCM kiddo and I got the shocking revelation that Pepper's brother will be heading off to Canada (this story's a little complicated. I'll leave it for another day)

So...yeah...

The China Trip
I still can't quite remember what made me say yes to the whole go-overseas-on-a-study-trip-it'll-be-fun idea but whatever. I came back alive. Got to fly Scoot for once with a bunch of wonderful friends and found myself stuck in Tianjin, China for 5 weeks. Beginnings are always the worst. The weather was pretty chilly (this was during the Winter-Spring transition so the climate fluctuated quite a bit) and the entire campus was dull. Oh, forgot to mention. During the trip, lodging as at the Academic Foreign Exchange Student hotel, part of the Tianjin Technological University campus grounds. It was 2 to a decent room, so I got to stay with a lovely roomie. In fact, she was so lovely we had to deal with morning mails from a bunch of her suitors.

It wasn't until the 2-3rd weeks before things became a little more happening. Spring arrived and it was such a magical moment, seeing cherry blossoms bloom all around us and watching how life flows back to the university. Daffodils, irises and other temperate plants were flourishing right in front of us and I LOVED IT. Oh, and yeah, this was my first time experiencing spring in a foreign country. Of course it wasn't all fun and play in Tianjin. Part of the trip consisted on completing two modules, one on feature writing and the other on Chinese studies. Excursions were planned out so we got to explore some sights of Tianjin and OMG THE STREET FOOD!!!!!!!! Damn, I'm drooling already :(

It's funny how I used to complain how long the trip was in the beginning. Now that I'm back, I'm actually hoping to revisit the city again. Aside from the ridiculously cheap cab rides and polluted air, Tianjin is actually pretty modern and there are certain places that I'm dying to go again!

About the whole 'growing up' part...
another post another time :)

I'm in Year Two!!!!
Surprise surprise, this little shorty is now a sophomore in Poly.
I still remember how seniors would come by and tell me to 'enjoy year one'. I used to respond to their advice with either a slight nod or a simple 'ok?'
But damn...it really hits you hard...being a year 2 and all...
It's as if I've just chugged an entire bottle of vodka down my system. It's so overwhelming!
I'm turning 18 this year!
I'm gonna be applicable for a drivers' license in the next semester!
I'm gonna be an intern next year!
THINGS ARE CHANGING AGAIN...AND FASTER THIS TIME!

I really miss 2013 right now... #icouldsighbutwhatdifferencewoulditmake

#np: Say you say me - Vixx

I'm back~
Right now I'm being flooded with final assignments and group projects that getting sufficient sleep has become a luxury. The lack of sleep is seriously taking its toll on me, and I'm not the only one who senses it. This morning, a couple classmates said I looked pretty pale.

Sighpie...what to do? Tahan lorh. I guess the only option I've got is to take things one step at a time and just look forward to the approaching holidays. But the past few days have been rough on me. I struggled with Writcom so much that I wasn't able to sleep well (kept thinking about my final essay).

I've got a presentation tomorrow with my wonderful group. It's gonna be our final Webgra (Digital Media Fundamentals) presentation and our last assignment for the module. Looking forward to kissing Dreamweaver goodbye (at least, for 2 months :P)

CNY started about a couple weeks ago. Prior to that, I managed to squeeze in some time to do a little room reno. Now my room looks perfect for the right-brainer I am :)

To boot, it's been forever since I last went to canteen 4 for lunch. Managed to meet a bunch of Wildcats peeps and buddies there on Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?)

"Gettin' real tired of this shit..."

This was on CNY eve. Went to the usual place for the reunion dinner and baby Ryan actually let me carry him! XD

His eyes are enormous, but they're not clearly shown here :/

It's funny how I'm always that kid who's a generation younger than the rest around her age... Yes, these two are my uncles.

Uncle on the right was like " do a serious face!"
Photobomb right smacked in the middle.

Now this was on CNY. Went to my affluent granduncle's place for dinner and got the luxury of chilling in my uncle's super ATAS and newly built bedroom. Along with my aunt and another uncle in the background (remember the whole 'I'm actually a generation younger' stuff? Yeah...) watched The Family before the table for black jack was set up.

Sigh...My uncle and aunt are only a couple years older than me...

Bring out the $$, we're gonna be up all night ( actually, we really were up all night. I think by the time we left Granduncle's place, it was close to 3am).

Then came the day where another shoot for our Final film 'US' was set. Tbh, I didn't do much at all. Spent most of my time fooling around and goofing off...oh well, my real job's behind the mac, as the editor (urgh much work, little time, coming deadline x.x )
"Wanna be my (life)boy?" *slaps face*

Titanic 2 in the background. #ofcourseimkidding

Sweating after fooling around too much at the playground...

tat wind....

Loved the swing. I want one in my room.

With the entire team on deck! XD

I'll be back soon after I'm done with school stuff :)

#np: Unconditionally - Katy Perry

I've been absent for so long! Wow!
It's finally term break. What made the last day of school(Wednesday) interesting was that it was on 11.12.13. What a cute coincidence!

Looking back, this semester is much more challenging than the last(in my opinion). With modules that I'm desperate to keep up with and stress levels soaring higher than I could have imagined. But life-especially Poly life- is all about stepping up to challenges and overcoming them one at a time.

I was just visiting Facebook when I came across this new feature: Year in Review. Basically it's 'A look at your 20 biggest moments on Facebook'. What an interesting idea, keeping a record of the biggest moments in 2013?
